Velocity Rush is a free Formula 1 racing game that runs on this page. Line up on a five-car grid, wait for the lights to go out, and fight for the lead on a full 3D grand-prix circuit. No download, no install: play with a keyboard, a gamepad, or the touch controls on your phone.

Press Run game, pick Single Player, and you are on the grid in seconds.

Six ways to race

Quick Race	One 3-lap race against four rival drivers.
Championship	A season of 5 races. Points after every race (25 · 18 · 15 · 12 · 10); most points after race 5 is champion. Your season is saved between races.
Qualifying	One lap on an empty track. Your time decides where you start in Quick Race and Championship. Go under 0:37 for pole position.
Time Trial	Just you and the clock. Your best lap comes back as a ghost car to chase.
Challenges	Beat 0:50, finish a lap without leaving the track, or charge from last place onto the podium in two laps.
Multiplayer	Host a room, send the code, and race 2–6 friends online. No account, no LAN.

Built to feel like a race

• An engine you can hear shift. The sound is generated from an 8-speed gearbox, so the revs, the upshifts and the launch match exactly what your car is doing. Choose a Deep, Standard or Sharp engine note.
• Rivals that race the circuit. Four AI drivers on Easy, Medium or Hard, with the live race order and gaps on screen.
• A real race HUD. Rev lights with a shift light, gear, speed, position, lap, your gap to your best lap, and a minimap. It fits any screen.
• Things to hit. Cones and plastic barriers fly, tumble and settle; walls push you back onto the track.
• Your car, your way. Eight liveries and three setups (Balanced, Power, Grip), plus night races and a wet track.

Four cameras: chase, cockpit, hood and TV. Press V or the camera button to switch.

Velocity Rush is in beta. If something breaks, or you have an idea, leave a comment. For online races the host needs to keep their tab open; if a room won't connect, try again or switch networks (a phone hotspot often works).
